Bentley Continental GTC convertible turned into a three-door wagon

At the Geneva Motor Show in the Italian design studio Carrozeria Touring Superleggera unveiled its new development - three-door wagon, built on the base convertible Bentley Continental GTC. The car, named Bentley Continental Flying Star, will be released a limited edition of 20 copies and already in the near future will be on sale.

Body standard convertible Bentley has been changed due to an extended roof and new rear wings, made of steel and aluminum door panels and trunk lid with electric. Overall length of the three-door station wagon is 4815 millimeters (almost an inch longer than the convertible), width - 1943 mm (two inches longer), and height - 1395 mm (three millimeters below). According to the Carrozeria Touring Superleggera, the mass of new items is 1500 kilograms - about a ton less than the standard car.

Cargo Volume Bentley Continental Flying Star, which is decorated with wood floor, is 400 liters. When folded rear seats increase the volume to 1200 liters. Note that the convertible luggage compartment volume is 370 liters.
Three-door wagon will be equipped with shestilitrovym 560-horsepower W12 engine with two turbochargers from the usual open Bentley Continental GTC or the forced 600-strong version of "charged" modification of Speed. According to the studio, from zero to a hundred kilometers per hour with a new base engine will be dispersed in 4,8 seconds. Maximum speed will be 322 kilometers per hour.

It is expected that the price of a wagon will start from 590 thousand euros. Serve car can be on conventional stations Bentley.

Previously, the company has already developed Touring Superleggera generalists based on other cars. One of them was the Maserati Bellagio Fastback, "donor" for which became sedan Quattroporte.
