Crossover Range Rover LRX is far from perfect

Three months after the first public test of the prototype crossover Range Rover LRX went to Scandinavia, which went on a road test coldness.

The car is still being tested in the back Freelander 2, which divides the new platform. The company confirmed that the design model will be closest to the style of the same name concept car, demonstrated two years ago. Officially the serial version of the machine must be submitted before the end of this year, but its sales are scheduled for next year.

Compact "parketnika", according to preliminary information, will be completed with 4-cylinder turbo engine 2-liter 160 hp and 230-horsepower gasoline engine of 3.2 liters. The machine should get the hybrid plant, comprising electrical and turbo diesel units. Hybrid crossover equipped with the system Stop & Start, will be able to overcome the short-distance, using only the electric motor.

It is assumed that the Range Rover LRX will be issued in three-door body, and five-door.
